Challenger Learning Center – Columbus Ga
SUMMARY– As part of the Challenger Learning Center simulation programs, students and adults will experience the excitement of space exploration. Students become engineers and scientists as they work as teams in mission control and aboard a space station. They test their decision-making skills, solve problems and communicate by alternative means during this innovative space-themed science and math lesson. Teachers prepare students using both pre- and post-flight activities that integrate the experience into traditional classroom instruction.
TASK – Create a series of timed animated sequences to be used throughout the interactive mission simulation for the Voyage to Mars. The animated sequences show the take-off and landing on Mars, and also lunching of a probe in space.
